It's getting very popular to perform a spring over axle or 4 link suspension of 40 series Land Cruisers using 60 series axles. The extra 3 inches of width add a lot of stability, and the stronger stock gears and birfields, plus better front and rear brakes (compared to earlier FJ40s) are a lot of bang for the buck.
