It's very popular to lengthen the wheelbase on a 40 series Land Cruiser when performing a Spring Over Lift. Lengthening the wheelbase provides for a better approach and departure angle, and accomidates longer drivetrains. Plus, your Land Cruiser will climb steep obstacles better. You can stretch your wheelbase in the front and or the rear and gain up to 10 inches of wheelbase.
Do It Right, Take Care Of The Body
It's ok to just trim out the wheel well to accomidate the extra length and tire size, but if you want your rig to look it's best, we offer moving the wheel opening, even the factory wheel opening back.
