Cummins 4BT / 4BTA, 3.9L Diesel Engine Conversion

The famous 4BT comes in several forms. The most common of which is the 4BT and 4BTA. These are direct injected turbo charged, 4 cylinder engines.
In stock from, the 4BT puts out 105HP and 265 lb-ft and in recent years a 130HP with 355lb-ft version is available.
The injection pump on the stock 4BT can be tweaked for more power if desired, and different injectors and turbos can be installed can be installed to add more power as well.

Cummins 3.9L Cons
- Very loud engine with lots of vibration (4BTAA's have less vibration)
- Requires at least a 4" lift to clear the front differential
- Again...to repeat...these are VERY LOUD!
