Proffitt's Cruiser offers 3 types of restorations for your Toyota Land Cruiser. Every restoration is different, but we break them down into three basic categories: Stage One, Stage Two, and Stage Three restorations. Stage One Land Cruiser Restorations consist of a general overall exterior refinish of your Land Cruiser. We repair any rust and body damage before coating the exterior of the rig with the proper substrate coatings and then high quality base-clear paint. Usually the door jambs are refinished as well.

A stage one restoration often also includes any of our other cosmetic or performance upgrades such as:  suspension modifications, an engine conversion, roll bar or roll cage, body armor, custom bumpers, interior re-upholstery, or custom seating.

Stage Two Land Cruiser Restorations consist of the same exterior refinish but also include a full interior refinish. All of the internal painted surfaces get re-painted. In most cases the doors, fenders, hood, tailgate(s), hatch,  and other removable body parts get individually reconditioned.  On an older land cruiser such as an FJ40 or FJ45 this means a lot of parts get individually sanded or sand blasted and refinished. Often, the engine is removed for a stage 2 restoration so changing the color of your Land Cruiser is possible. Of course any of our performance and cosmetic upgrades are available during the buildup. These include but are definately not limited to: suspension lifts including SOA, and 4 link suspensions, lockers, engine conversions (including our very popular diesel engine conversions), disc brake conversions, transmission upgrades, roll cages, custom tube fenders, custom bumpers, air condition, custom seating, and much much more.

Stage Three Land Cruiser Restorations are full body off restorations. Proffitt's Cruisers believes that our stage three restorations are the best available. We perform both completely stock restorations and custom build ups. These consist of a complete tear down and reassembly of your land cruiser. Every body part is refinished individually and assembled with new hardware. Your frame is sanblasted befor we perform any alterations, and then powdercoated for a long lasting finish.  Major mechanical components are usually rebuilt or replaced. all new brake lines and fuel lines are fabricated. Interiors are entirely renewed. Every component is given meticulous attention to detail.  A stage 3 restoration has the appearance of a brand new Land Cruiser inside, underneath, and in literally every corner. All of our performance and cosmetic upgrades are available.
